A tasty recipe for crispy gratin mussels from the oven.

Directions

  1. Rinse the mussels thoroughly and take out the broken ones. Drain and place in a large pan with the bay leaf, thyme, onion and garlic.
  2. Leave to come to the boil covered and steam the mussels open in about 10 minutes. Put them in for a while and let them cool down a bit.
  3. Always break the empty shell and place the stuffed shells in an oven dish.
  4. Grind the bread with the herbs, the cheese and the butter and season with a little salt and pepper.
  5. Preheat the oven grill. Divide the bread mixture over the mussels and let them gratin under the grill in about 2 minutes. Stay with it, because it can burn quickly! .
