Davids spitskoolstamp with liver sausage
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, potatoes (slightly crumbly), pointed cabbage, butter, onion (chopped), semi-skimmed milk, nutmeg, butcher's liver sausage ((300 g) and in cubes of 1 cm).

Peel the potatoes, cut them into pieces and boil them in a large pan of water with salt in 20 minutes until tender.

Meanwhile, cut the coals into strips. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the onion for 3 minutes. Turn the heat up, add the coals and stir-fry for 5 minutes. Add the milk and turn off the heat.

Add the onion-cabbage mixture to the potatoes and stamp with the mashed pestle into stew. Season with nutmeg, pepper and salt. Put the liver sausage through and serve immediately.
