Ingredients
Directions
-
Cut the crusts of the white bread so that you get nice square slices. Or use toast bread.
-
Clean the orange and grate the orange peel. Mix the butter with the orange peel and granulated sugar. Spread the slices with this.
-
Melt the chocolate in the microwave on the lowest setting.
-
Spread a nice layer of chocolate on the inside of a slice of bread and put a second slice on top. Make sure that the chocolate does not run out or sticks to the edges, otherwise the chocolate will burn and it will become grainy and bitter.
-
Boil the red fruits with the jelly sugar for about 10 minutes on low heat to a coulis or soft jam. Let the fruit sauce cool down.
-
Bake the croquettes golden brown in the sandwich maker. Serve warm with a jar of the fruit sauce.
