Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper. Heat the butter and oil in a pan and fry the chicken drumsticks around golden brown.

Add the shallots and curry powder and cook for another 20 minutes. Remove the chicken drumsticks from the pan and keep them warm.

Sprinkle the shallots with the flour and add the broth, with stirring, in portions. Cook for 2 minutes.

Meanwhile, roast the almonds lightly brown in a dry, hot skillet.

Mix the crème fraîche with the sauce. Serve the chicken with the sauce and sprinkle with the almonds and parsley.
