Ingredients
Directions
-
Chop the onion finely. Heat the butter in a frying pan and gently fry the onion for 3 minutes. Scoop the onion from the pan onto a plate and allow to cool slightly.
-
Beat the egg. Put the mince with the egg and the nutmeg in a bowl. Tumble the biscuit over it. Season with salt and pepper.
-
Knead very well together. Divide the mince into 8 equal pieces and roll balls.
-
Heat the remaining butter in the frying pan over a high heat. Roll the balls through the flour. Place the meatballs in the pan and bake them around brown.
-
Turn down the heat and add a splash of water. Place the lid diagonally on the pan and roast the meatballs for about 20 minutes until done.
-
Turn them occasionally. Pour the water into the pan and stir with a wooden spoon or spatula the cakes on the bottom of the pan.
-
Season the gravy with salt and pepper.
