Dutch rice dish with warm smoked salmon
A dish full of tasty Dutch vegetables. Delicious with the warm smoked salmon pieces.

Bring a large pan of water with salt, if necessary, to the boil. When the water boils, add the rice.

Bring back to the boil and boil for 8 minutes. Turn off the heat, drain the rice, put it back in the pan and leave with the lid on until use.

In the meantime, bring a large pot of water to the boil and boil the eggs for 8 minutes. Let it frighten, peel and finely.

Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the peasant soup vegetables with the cumin and salt for 5 minutes on medium heat.

Meanwhile, wash the tomatoes and cut into parts. Mix the rice through the soup vegetables and scoop on a large scale.

Scoop the tomato wedges through, break the salmon into smaller pieces and spread over the rice. Divide the oak residue.
