A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, crumbly potatoes (peeled and chopped), ready-to-cook turnip, smoked bacon strips, stewed pears ((a 400 g), drained), milk, spring onions (in rings), white wine vinegar and freshly ground black pepper.
In large pan with bottom water and some salt potatoes and turnip boiling in about 20 minutes.
In the meantime, fry bacon strips on medium heat in approx.
5 minutes until brown and crispy.
Drain bacon on kitchen paper.
Cut the pear cloves into pieces.
Drain potatoes and turnip and mix with milk to a smooth stew.
Stir in bacon, stew, spring onions and vinegar.
Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.
Stamppot while still gently heating for approx.
