Endive salad with old cheese


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: eggs, endive, ciabatta (bread), olive oil, garlic (halved), old cheese (aged 3 years), red onion (in thin rings) and Zaanse dressing mustard honey (90 ml).

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Cook the eggs almost hard in 7 minutes. Scare under cold running water, peel and cut into quarters. Cut the hard bottom of the endive. Wash the leaves, pat dry and tear into coarse pieces.
  2. Cut the bread lengthwise into 4 slices and drizzle with the oil. Roast in the oven for about 8 minutes. Rub with the garlic.
  3. Shave large curls of the cheese. Mix the endive, onion and dressing in a bowl. Divide over 4 plates and garnish with the egg and cheese. Serve with the bread.
