Directions

Bring a large pan with water and a pinch of salt to the boil. Peel and cut the potatoes into equal pieces.

Boil the potatoes for 18 minutes, drain them and store with a dash of cooking liquid in the pan.

In the meantime, heat a dash of oil in a frying pan and fry the shawarma strips according to the instructions on the package.

Mash the potatoes with a pestle, add a knob of butter and stir into a creamy puree. Season with salt and pepper. Prepare, while the shawarma is baking, the gravy according to the directions on the package.

Fold the sliced endive through the mashed potatoes and spread the endive stew over the plates. Serve with the shawarma strips and the gravy.
