Cut the bacon into tiny cubes. Then bake the bacon in a dry frying pan and drain on kitchen paper.

Halve the garlic and rub the fondue pan on the inside. In the fondue pan, heat the beer, lemon juice and mustard over low heat to the boil.

Stir the grated cheese little by little with a wooden spoon through the warm beer until all the cheese has melted.

Stir in a cup the cornstarch with the whipped cream into a smooth paste. Tie the cheese fondue while stirring with the cornstarch. Stir in the bacon through the cheese fondue.
