Farfalle with spinach and ham

Directions

  1. Boil the farfalle in a large frying pan with plenty of boiling water with salt in 12 minutes until al dente.
  2. Meanwhile, wash the spinach in plenty of water.
  3. Dry the spinach in a salad spinner or let it drain well in a colander.
  4. Drain the farfalle in a colander and collect a portion of the cooking liquid.
  5. Meanwhile, let the spinach sink in the pan.
  6. Stir the pasta, whipped cream and the basil through the spinach in the pan and heat everything while stirring on a low heat, add some of the cooking liquid if necessary.
  7. Cut the ham into broad strips.
  8. Spoon the farfalle with spinach in deep plates and drape the ham bars in the middle.
