Fast lamb ragout


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, liquid margarine, lamb shreds à la minute (in pieces), flour, semi-skimmed milk, herbal stock, fresh parsley (finely chopped), carrots (in slices), snow peas (cleaned), garden peas (frozen) and wholemeal bread (uncut).

Directions

  1. Pour large pan with water and 1 tsp salt to the boil.
  2. Heat margarine in small casserole and lamb for 3 min.
  3. Around brown bowls.
  4. Remove the meat from the pan, sprinkle with 1/2 tsp salt and pepper and keep warm.
  5. Add flour to shortening, stir well and heat for 2 min.
  6. Add milk and bouillon tablet and stir into a tied sauce.
  7. Add parsley and meat and heat for 2 minutes.
  8. Season the ragout with salt and pepper.
  9. In the meantime, cooked carrots in boiling water for 5 minutes.
  10. Add last 2 min.
  11. Pea pods and garden peas.
  12. Cut bread into thick slices.
  13. Serving the ragout with vegetables and bread..
