Bring the stock to a boil in a soup pot or wok. Peel the ginger and cut into wafer-thin slices.

Cut the stalk of the red pepper. Roll the pepper between your hands so that the seeds fall out. Cut the pepper into rings.

Add the ginger, red pepper, cloves, cinnamon stick and star anise to the stock and leave on low heat with the lid on the pan for 20 minutes.

Remove the cloves, the cinnamon stick and the star anise. Cook the noodles in the soup for 3 minutes.

Add the wok vegetable after 1 min. Meanwhile cut the steak into very thin slices.

Season the soup with the fish sauce. Spoon into bowls and spread the slices of steak over it.
