Fennel stew with vegetable schnitzel


A tasty recipe. The vegetarian main course contains the following ingredients: fennel tubers (about 600 g), tomatoes, butter or margarine, mashed potatoes (pack of 2 bags) and vegetable schnitzel (2 pieces).

Directions

  1. Clean fennel and cut into strips.
  2. Wash tomatoes and remove crowns.
  3. Halve tomatoes, remove seeds and cut flesh into strips.
  4. Fry 2 tablespoons of butter in frying pan.
  5. Fry frying for about 5 minutes.
  6. In the meantime, make mashed potatoes according to instructions.
  7. Heat the rest of butter in a large frying pan.
  8. Vegetable cutlets should be cooked until golden brown in approx.
  9. 6 minutes, turning occasionally.
  10. Add tomato strips to fennel and heat them through and through.
  11. Mix puree with fennel and tomato.
  12. Stew the stew with vegetable schnitzel..
