Fish paella from the oven
Also try this delicious fish paella from the oven
- 4 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 great onion shredded
- 3 tomato in small cubes, ripe
- 300 gram risotto rice
- 1 laurel leaf
- 2 twig thyme only the leaves
- 1 mespoint saffron
- 1 mespoint turmeric
- 600 milliliters fish stock of 1 tablet boiling
- 250 gram mixed seafood
- 250 gram mixed whitefish fillet in cubes
- 1 kilogram mussel
- 1 lemon in parts
Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Heat the oil and fry the onion at medium height in about 5 minutes.
Add the tomatoes and cook for a few minutes until they are soft.
Add the rice, the bay leaf, the thyme and the saffron and pour the boiling stock and the wine. Let it boil and then do everything in an oven dish.
Add the seafood or fish and gently spread. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and put in the oven. Let the rice cook in about 20 minutes.
In the meantime, rinse the mussels well and remove broken ones. Steam the mussels in a closed pan without water in about 10 minutes.
Remove half of the mussels from the shell and place them on the paella in the oven for the last few minutes.
Decorate the paella with the remaining mussels in shell and the lemon slices.
