Fragole al vino rosso
A tasty Italian recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: strawberries, sugar, red wine (chianti classico) and lemon (scented).
Put the strawberries with the sugar in a bowl, pour the wine over it and marinate the whole as long as possible - preferably half a day - in the refrigerator.
Grate the zest off the lemon.
Remove the strawberries from the marinade and reduce the navy water with lemon zest in a pan over medium heat, until it starts to become syrupy after 10-15 minutes.
Let the wine sauce cool down a bit (for example by placing the pan in a larger pan with ice cold water) and serve the strawberries with the wine sauce..
