French pasta dish


French pasta dish with bacon, beef strips, French stir-fried vegetables and tomato puree.

Directions

  1. Fry the bacon strips in a frying pan over low heat in about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the oil, set the heat high and fry the beef strips and Provençal herbs for 4 minutes.
  3. Take the bacon strips and the beef strips with a slotted spoon from the pan.
  4. Put the stir-fry mix in the pan with shortening and stir-fry for 10 minutes, so that the vegetables thaw. Slice the garlic.
  5. Add the garlic, tomato paste and water and bring the sauce to the boil while stirring.
  6. Add the bacon strips and the beef strips and cook for another 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Meanwhile, cook the penne according to the instructions on the package. Drain and scoop through the vegetable-meat sauce. Serve the dish in deep plates.
