Directions

  1. Put the bread out with the heart shape. Put the plug in the frying pan and heat a knob of butter.
  2. Break the egg into the heart mold and cook it over low heat in 5 to 8 minutes minutes. Remove the egg heart from the pan and keep it warm under aluminum foil. Bake the rest of the eggs in the same way. Meanwhile, roast the bread hearts.
  3. Divide the lettuce over four plates. Put the bread hearts on the salad and divide the egg hearts over it. Sprinkle with salt and (freshly ground) pepper and cut the cress fine. Serve immediately.
