Fruity curry meatballs with yellow rice
A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, apple (eg Elstar), dried figs, minced beef, egg, breadcrumbs, curry powder, butter (liquid), onion, ground turmeric (koenjit), white rice, cucumber, oak leaf lettuce and yoghurt dressing.

Peel apple and coarsely grate.

Finely chop the figs.

In bowl mince with egg, breadcrumbs, curry powder, 1 tsp salt, grated apple and fig well knead, until mixture becomes sticky.

Distribute minced meat into 12 equal portions and make portions with wet hands into nice balls.

Cook 3 tablespoons of butter in casserole and meatballs on medium heat around brown cans.

Pour 100 ml of water along the edge of the pan and cover the meatballs for 20-25 min.

Peel and chop onions.

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in pan and gently fry onions.

Stir in turmeric and rice, and bake for another 2-3 minutes.

Add water and salt and (see guideline on packaging), bring to boil and cook according to instructions and leave covered.

Clean cucumber and cut into cubes.

Release lettuce leaves and wash.

Dry leaves (in salad spinner) and tear them into pieces, remove hard veins.

Mix lightly with cucumber and dressing in bowl.

Serving meatballs with rice and salad..
