Fusilli with mushrooms and vegaspekjes


Fusilli with vegetarian bacon strips, chestnut mushrooms, leek, sage and pasta sauce.

Directions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Remove the leaves from the sprigs of sage and cut the leaves into thin strips.
  3. Cut the mushrooms into quarters.
  4. In the meantime, heat the oil in a skillet and fry the mushrooms, bacon strips and 2/3 of the sage for 5 minutes on medium heat.
  5. Add the leeks for the last 2 minutes.
  6. Drain the pasta and stir in the sauce.
  7. Heat for 3 minutes while stirring on low heat. Season with (freshly ground) pepper.
  8. Divide the mushroom pre-mix over the pasta and sprinkle with the rest of the sage. Serve immediately.
