A tasty recipe. The vegetarian breakfast contains the following ingredients: red grapefruit, almond shavings (45 g) and white caster sugar.

Preheat the grill.

Grap grapefruit half.

Cut fruit flesh with (grapefruit) knife along the skin.

Cut loose pieces of fleece, so that they can easily be removed with a spoon.

In bowl, stir almond shavings with caster sugar.

Spread the sugar mixture over the cut surface of grapefruit.

Place grapefruits on baking sheet, slide 15 cm under hot grill and heat for 2-3 minutes until sugar starts caramelizing and almond shavings color..
