Directions

  1. Extra requirements: food processor and a baking tray covered with baking paper.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  3. Defrost the filo pastry.
  4. Grind the spinach with the parsley and garlic in the food processor.
  5. Mix the spinach mixture in a bowl with the crumbled feta, lemon zest and some freshly ground black pepper.
  6. Make a long slice of half of the slices of filo pastry.
  7. Brush thinly with olive oil and lay the remaining slices of filo pastry.
  8. Spoon a bar of the spinach mixture over the entire length of the dough.
  9. Fold the bottom of the dough over the filling and roll the dough up to a long roll.
  10. Make sure that the closure is underneath.
  11. Slide one side of the rolling pin towards the middle of the baking tray.
  12. Roll the rest of the rolling pin firmly around it, so that it eventually becomes a flat spiral on the baking tray.
  13. Brush the spiral with olive oil.
  14. Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake the dough spiral in golden brown and cooked for 25-30 minutes.
