Grilled asparagus with bacon
Grilled asparagus with bacon, mashed potatoes, fresh chives and arugula.
Peel the asparagus with a peeler, from just under the cup downwards, cut off the woody bottom (about 3 cm). In a asparagus pan (or skillet), bring plenty of water to the boil containing the asparagus, ends, sugar and salt.
Put or put the asparagus in it and bring the water back to the boil. Cook the asparagus for 7 minutes, remove from the pan and drain in the colander. Meanwhile, grease the oven dish. Wrap the asparagus with bacon and place side by side in the oven dish.
Brush the whole with oil and sprinkle with pepper. Grill the asparagus 6-8 min. And turn halfway. Prepare the puree according to the instructions on the packaging. Cut the chives finely.
Slice the rucola coarsely and scoop through the mashed potatoes. Divide the asparagus over the plates and garnish with chives. Serve with the puree.
