Grilled duck breast 'al diavolo'


A tasty Italian recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, orange (scented), tasty tom tomatoes, Italian (olive oil (bottle a 500 ml)), garlic (in slices), red peppers (in strips), cayenne pepper (crumbled), full red wine (Italian), duck breasts (at room temperature) and parsley ((bag of 30 g) coarsely cut).

Directions

  1. Grate the zest of the orange and squeeze the fruit.
  2. Remove the tomatoes by crossing them and dipping them in hot water.
  3. Cut half of the tomatoes into cubes and the rest into slices.
  4. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil and fry the garlic lightly.
  5. Add the tomato cubes, 2 red peppers, cayenne pepper, orange zest, juice and wine.
  6. Let it simmer for 15-20 minutes on a high heat in a stirring sauce.
  7. Add salt and pepper.
  8. Preheat the oven to 175 ºC.
  9. Cut a diamond pattern into the fat layer of the duck breasts.
  10. Rub them in with salt and pepper.
  11. Brush them on the meat side with oil.
  12. Heat the grill pan and grill the duck on the fat layer for 4-5 minutes and 1 minute on the other side.
  13. Leave the meat on a baking sheet for 4-5 minutes in the oven.
  14. Take it out of the oven, cover it with aluminum foil and let it rest for 2 minutes.
  15. Divide the tomato slices over 6 preheated plates and place the duck breast on top.
  16. Spoon the sauce over it and sprinkle with the parsley and the rest of the red pepper.
  17. Tasty with haricots verts..
