Grilled fish kebabs
A nice Turkish recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, onion, traditional olive oil, garlic, fresh plaice and peppers.

Cut the onion into thin rings. Put the oil and lemon juice in a deep bowl. Squeeze out the garlic.

Stir in the bay leaves, onion, paprika, pepper and salt.

Cut the fish into 32 cubes and scoop through the marinade. Leave to marinate in the refrigerator for about 1 hour, scraping occasionally.

In the meantime, remove the seeds from the bell pepper and cut the flesh into 16 pieces. Cut the dill finely.

Stir in the oil and lemon juice with the dill, pepper and salt, if necessary, into a dressing.

Preheat the grill to the highest setting or light the barbecue.

Thread alternately 4 fish cubes, 2 pieces of paprika and 2 to 8 skewers. Brush the skewers with the rest of the marinade.

Roast the skewers under the hot grill or on the barbecue for 8-10 minutes. Turn carefully halfway. Serve with the dilling dressing separately.
