Haddock finches with carrots
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, mashed potatoes (750 g, frozen), carrots (cleaned), haddock fillet ((250 g), in 4 pieces), smoked bacon, onions (chopped) and ginger syrup (bottle of 250 ml).

Heat the mashed potatoes according to the instructions on the package. Boil the carrots for 10 minutes. Rub the pieces of haddock with salt and pepper and wrap each piece in 3 slices of bacon, like a croquette.

In a frying or frying pan, fry the wrapped haddock finned around nicely brown and cooked in about 12 minutes. Take them out of the pan and keep them warm under aluminum foil.

Spoon the onion into the cooking fat and fry it glassy. Add the carrots, the ginger syrup and some water and simmer the roots for about 5 minutes. Serve the baked haddock with mashed potatoes and carrots.
