Heat the oil and fry the finely chopped carrot for 3 minutes with the curry. Pour a few tablespoons of water and leave to simmer for a few minutes until the carrot is al dente. Puree with a hand blender and allow the carrot puree to cool.

Preheat the oven to 200ºC. Bake the ham steaks in the oven in about 25 minutes until tender and golden brown.

Mix the carrot puree with the hummus and yogurt. Season with pepper.
