A tasty Dutch recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, crumbly potatoes, moes apples (gold bars or jonagold), salt, cinnamon stick, thin bacon strips (about 225 g) and sugar.

Directions

  1. Peel and wash potatoes.
  2. Peel the apples and remove the cores.
  3. Cut potatoes and apples into quarters.
  4. Fry potatoes in approx.
  5. 20 minutes with water and salt.
  6. Meanwhile in other pan apples with a small layer of water and cinnamon stick in 10 to 15 minutes to coarse moes.
  7. Fry bacon in a dry frying pan.
  8. Remove bacon from the pan and drain on kitchen paper.
  9. Mix sugar with applesauce.
  10. Drain potatoes and coarsely mix with pestle.
  11. Mix the apple sauce with mashed potatoes and spread the bacon over it..
