Herring bonbons
A tasty Dutch recipe. The snack contains the following ingredients: fish, salted herring, green apple ((eg Granny Smith), peeled), beetroot (grated (bake 400 g)), (olive) oil, rye bread and chives (chopped).

Remove any grains from the herring.

Slice the herring and the apple very finely and mix in a bowl with the beetroot.

Stir in the oil and crumble the rye bread above it.

Mix the whole and season with salt and pepper.

Divide into 12 portions, turn into balls and stir through the chives.

Place the chocolates on plates and serve immediately..
