A tasty Dutch recipe. The starter contains the following ingredients: fish, Frisian rye bread, salty herring (Dutch new), potato salad (bak à 600 g) and fresh chives (à 25 g).

Cut rye bread diagonally in half.

Cut herring into strips of 1 cm.

Place 1 rye bread triangle on four plates each.

Divide potato salad over bread, cover with second triangle.

Grind chives.

Mix herring with onion (from pack) and chives.

Distribute and serve herring over rye bread..
