Homemade rösti with onion


Homemade rösti of crumbly potatoes, onion, egg and margarine.

Directions

  1. Peel and grate the potatoes.
  2. Peel and grate the onion.
  3. Mix the onion rag and the egg through the potato. Season with pepper and salt.
  4. Heat the margarine in a frying pan with non-stick coating. Spoon the potato mixture in, push firmly and bake for 10 minutes on medium heat.
  5. Turn the rösti with a plate.
  6. Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat and 10 minutes on low heat. Note that the rösti is not too dark.
