Honey ice with fresh figs
A tasty Spanish recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: vanilla pod, whipped cream, whole milk, white caster sugar, egg yolks, liquid flower honey and fresh figs.

Cut the vanilla pod in length. In a thick pan, whip the cream, milk, sugar and vanilla pod over a low heat. Egg yolks beat frothy. Remove the vanilla pod, scrape the marrow from the stick and stir in the mixture. Whipped cream with stirring by egg yolks. Pour sauce into pan and add to the boil while stirring until cream starts to thicken. Stir in the honey, pour into a deep-freeze container and allow to cool to room temperature in about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Allow to freeze in frozen (or ice cream) mixture in approx. 6 hours (or approx. 30 minutes), scrape ice crystals from the wall every hour and stir in ice.

Cut figs into quarters. Place four segments of fig on four plates. bread roll next to it.
