Let the can of chickpeas drain and keep the moisture.

Mix the chickpeas with the sesame oil, cumin seeds (or powder), lemon juice, garlic and 4 tablespoons of the liquid into a creamy hummus. Season with salt and pepper.

Cut the cucumber, carrot and celery into thin strips. Serve the raw vegetables in glasses with the hummus for dipping.
