Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the bacon cubes for 6 minutes. Remove from the pan and drain on kitchen paper. Sprinkle the croquette with the oregano and fry in the minced bacon fat in the pan for 15 minutes until tender and brown. Add the balsamic vinegar and 50 ml of water.

Meanwhile, bring a pot of water with salt to the boil and boil the green beans in 8 min. Until al dente. Drain and mix in the bacon.
