Jordanian meatballs
A tasty Dutch recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, butter, shallot (chopped), white bread (without crust), semi-skimmed milk, Dutch shrimps (100 g), mince (half-to-half), egg (beaten), nutmeg (freshly grated) and flower.

Heat 25 g butter in a frying pan and fry the shallot for 3 min. Remove from the pan. Soak the bread in the milk in the meantime. Squeeze out and mix in a bowl with the shallot, shrimp, minced meat and egg. Add the nutmeg, pepper and generous salt.

Form 8 balls of the mince with wet hands and roll them through the flour. Heat 50 g of butter in the same frying pan and fry the meatballs on high heat all around. Turn down the heat and cook for 15 minutes. Turn regularly.
