Ingredients
Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Meanwhile grind the almonds and the bread in the food processor. Heat the olive oil in a stirring fruit, the onion and finely chopped garlic gently. Hand in the kale through hand and let the leaves shrink. Put the thyme and some freshly ground black pepper through. Let the kale cool down to hand warm.
-
Meanwhile spread the slices of puff pastry and let them thaw. Crumble the feta. Mix the almond bread mixture with the feta and egg into the kale and stir everything into a smooth, firm mass.
-
Place the slices of puff pastry on the work surface next to each other to form a long rectangle, leave the pieces together for 1 cm and press the seams tightly. Divide the kale mixture in the middle into a long sausage of approx. 4 cm diameter, leave 5 cm on the short sides.
-
Fold the long sides of the dough over the kale and shape the whole into a long roll. Moisten the dough with a little water and press the edges together well. Also close the ends of the roll well.
-
Carefully place the roll - if possible with 2 people - in the shape of an S with the seam down on the baking tray. Brush the top with milk. Bake the pastry letter in the middle of the oven in 25-35 minutes until golden brown and done. Leave the pastry letter out of the oven for 10 minutes and then cut the roll into pieces.
