Kale stew with sweet potato and smoked sausage

Peel and cut the sweet potatoes and the crumbly potatoes into pieces.

In a pan, bring a layer of 3 cm of water to the boil.

Add the kale and lay the pieces of sweet potato and regular potato on it.

Let the kale settle in 3-4 minutes.

Cover everything, add some salt and put the smoked sausage on it.

Cook the kale and potatoes covered in another 15 minutes until done.

Keep the smoked sausage warm on a plate under aluminum foil.

Drain the kale, but keep the moisture.
-
Mash the kale and potatoes with a pestle.
-
Stir in half of the piccalilli and stir in so much cooking water that it becomes a smooth stew.

Serve in deep plates with a piece of smoked sausage on it.

Enter the remaining piccalilly.

Also tasty with mustard, onions and pickles.
