Kale with sausage, bacon and farm cheese

Put the potatoes in a large pan and pour water on them so that they are just underneath. Divide the kale over it and add a little salt and smoked sausage. Bring to the boil and cook gently for 20 minutes until the potatoes are tender.

Meanwhile, bake the bacon cubes in a dry, hot frying pan. Take the sausage out of the pan. Drain the potatoes and kale and crush with the warm milk.

Mix in the bacon and shortening, nutmeg and mustard. Season with pepper.

Serve the kale stew with the cheese curls and sausage on it. Delicious with silver onion.
