Directions

Put the beans in a large bowl and pour in as much water until they are well under water. Allow to soak for at least 12 hours.

Drain the beans and put them in the pan. Cut the garlic into slices.

Add the garlic together with the tomato cubes, rosemary sprigs, bacon strips, bouillon tablet and the water. Stir well.

Bring to boil. Turn down the heat and simmer the beans with the lid on the pan for 2 hours. Stir occasionally.

Test whether the beans are cooked and let it cook for a little longer without the lid on the pan.
