Kippilav with raisins
Easy winters one-pan dish of onion, winter carrot, cumin, brown rice, raisins and smoked chicken.

Chop the onion. Cut the winter carrot into half slices. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the onion and the carrot for 3 minutes. Add the cumin and cook for 1 min. Add the rice and the raisins and cook for 2 minutes.

Pour the hot stock in the pan and bring to the boil while stirring. Boil the rice for about 16 minutes on medium heat. Stir frequently.

Meanwhile cut the chicken into slices. Add the chicken and warm for another 1 min. Season with salt and pepper. Divide the pilav over deep signs.
