Kohlrabi in mustard cream sauce


Quickly vegetarian side dish of kohlrabi with a sauce of cream, mustard and pepper.

Directions

  1. Cut the kohlrabi thinly and cut in half. Place the halves on the cutting edge and cut thin slices. Place the slices in a large frying pan and pour whipped cream over them. Bring the whipped cream to boil and let the kohlrabi boil for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the lid and cook the vegetables for another 5 minutes until the kohlrabi is done and the whipped cream is boiled down. Spoon the kohlrabi with skimmer in a warm dish.
  3. Remove from the heat, stir mustard through the light-bound sauce and season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the kohlrabi. Tasty with grilled pork chops.
