Rinse the lentils in a colander with cold water and drain. Heat butter in a large frying pan. Fry Cut the white cabbage.

Cut the apple into coarse pieces. Fry the cabbage strips for 1 min. Scoop the apple through the cabbage. Season to taste with salt and pepper and stew for 15 minutes.

Chop the onion. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the onion gently for 2 min. Add the bacon strips and cook for 2 minutes.

Scoop the lentils through the onion-bacon mixture. Remove the smoked sausage from the packaging and place on the lentils.

Add a splash of water and let it gently simmer for 10 minutes with the lid on the pan. Remove the smoked sausage from the pan and cut into 4 pieces.

Divide the lentils over deep plates. Put the smoked sausage on it and the coals next to it.
