Lentil dish with cajun seasoning
Dish of lentils, sweet potato, paprika, tomato cubes and celery.

Halve the garlic. Put with the lentils and laurel leaves in a pan with cold water and bring to the boil.

Turn down the heat and let the lentils simmer for 20 minutes. Drain and remove the garlic and bay leaves.

Meanwhile, peel the sweet potatoes and cut into 1 cm cubes.

Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the cubes with the cajun spices for 10 minutes on medium heat. Change regularly.

After 8 minutes, press the garlic above and cook for another 2 minutes.

In the meantime, remove the stalk and seeds from the peppers and cut the flesh into cubes.

Add together with the tomato cubes to the sweet potato and warm for 5 minutes.

Add the lentils and heat for another 2 minutes. Finely chop the celery and stir in the lentil dish.
