Lentil dish with catalan bratwurst


A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, olive oil, smoked bacon cubes (a 250 g), onion (coarsely chopped), garlic (chopped), red wine, peeled tomatoes (400 g), Italian herbs (finely chopped (fresh or frozen)), Catalan bratwurst (a 6 pieces), chestnut mushrooms, lentils ((400 g) and drained).

Directions

  1. Heat oil in heavy-bottomed pan and bake bacon cubes for 5 minutes.
  2. Chopped onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes until soft and glassy.
  3. Add wine and reduce for 10 minutes.
  4. Add tomatoes with liquid, Italian herbs, bratwurst and mushrooms.
  5. Cover the dish for about 20 minutes, let it simmer slowly.
  6. Prepare the lentils and gently heat for a further 3 minutes.
  7. Season the linseed dish with salt and pepper.
  8. Tasty with (Boulogne) baguette and a green salad..
