Lukewarm herring salad with vegetable strips
A tasty Dutch recipe. The lunch contains the following ingredients: fish, carrots, red peppers, snow peas, thin leeks, new herrings, fresh chives, dry white wine, Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, salt and (freshly ground) pepper.

Cleaning and washing carrots, peppers, snow peas and leeks.

Cut carrots, peppers and leeks into thin strips of approx.

5 cm.

Cutting tails of herrings and cutting herring fillets into strips.

Cut chives finely.

Pour the boiled wine to the boil and boil for about 3 minutes on a high heat.

Add the pepper and carrots and boil for about 2 minutes.

Add the leek and boil for about 1/2 minute.

Meanwhile, mix mayonnaise, yogurt, 1 tablespoon of cooking fluid and half of chives into a sauce.

Season with salt and pepper.

Drain vegetables and season with salt and pepper.

Carefully shake vegetables and herring together and distribute them over four plates.
