Luxury potato salad with bacon


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, potatoes (solid, unpeeled), olive oil, breakfast bacon (in slices), garden peas ((frozen), thawed), chives (salad dressing with yoghurt (bottle 270 ml)), red onion (in rings ) and butterhead lettuce (100 g).

Directions

  1. Cut the potatoes into wedges.
  2. Boil them in water with salt in approx.
  3. 10 minutes until done and pour them off.
  4. 2 Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the bacon until crispy.
  5. Rinse the garden peas in a sieve under warm running water until they have just thawed.
  6. 3 Stir in the dressing with 2 tbsp water.
  7. Put the potatoes with the red onion and the peas in a bowl and carefully pour the dressing.
  8. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Divide the butterhead lettuce over a bowl or 4 bowls and scoop the potato salad.
  10. Crumble the bacon over it.
  11. Serve the salad lukewarm or at room temperature..
