Mac 'n' cheese with ham and leek
Pasta dish with penne, leeks, gammon, broccoli, broccoli rice and grated cheese.

Melt the butter in a large pan and add the flour. Bake for 3 minutes while stirring until the mixture starts to color light brown (roux).

Add the milk bit by bit and bring to the boil. Cook in 3 min. Stirring with a whisk until a thick sauce.

Add the nutmeg, pepper and the salt.

In the meantime, cook the penne al dente according to the instructions on the package. Add the leeks in the last minute.

Meanwhile, cut the ham into strips.

Put the broccoli rice in a sieve and pour the pasta and leek above it.

Scoop the pasta, leek, broccoli, ham and grated cheese through the sauce and heat for a while. Serve immediately.
