Ingredients
Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
-
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Grease the muffin mold with 1 tbsp of the butter and sprinkle the cavities with wheat flour.
-
Grate the cheese. Drain the corn and put 2/3 of the corn with the buttermilk in a large bowl. Puree with the hand blender as smoothly as possible.
-
Add the eggs, chilli sauce and the rest of the butter. Beat with a whisk until a smooth mixture.
-
In a different bowl, combine the corn meal, the baking powder, the salt and the wheat flour.
-
Add together with the cheese to the egg mixture and mix smoothly with a whisk.
-
Divide the batter over the cavities of the muffin mold and spread the rest of the corn over it.
-
Fry the maize muffins in the middle of the oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown and done. Remove the muffins from the mold while they are still warm.
