Mango ginger jam


A tasty recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: mango (peeled), fresh ginger ((bag 150 g), peeled), orange juice, ginger syrup (250 ml bottle), sugar (extra to taste), cloves, seedless white grapes (500 g ), halved), gelatin (bag of 12 pieces), lemon (squeezed out) and cheese platter mild.

Directions

  1. Cut the mango into pieces and the ginger into slices. Bring the orange juice to the boil with the mango, ginger, ginger syrup, sugar, cloves and grapes. Cook for 30 minutes on a very low heat with the lid on the pan. Stir occasionally. Remove from the heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, soak the gelatine in cold water for 5 minutes. Squeeze and dissolve in the jam. Season the jam with lemon juice and extra sugar. Let cool in about 2 hours. Serve with the cheese.
