Mango patties


A tasty recipe. Directions

  1. Mix the flour with the sugar, the baking powder and 1 tsp salt. Add 150 g of butter and mix to a crumbly mass. Add the egg and 2 to 3 cubits of ice cold water. Knead until a smooth dough. If it is too dry, add some more water. Form into a ball and cover with cling film. Put in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat the rest of the butter and the onion 2 minutes. Add the garlic and the sambal and stir well for 1 min. Add the minced meat and fry the flour and brown. Then add the tomato, the mango and the raisins. Season with salt and pepper. Warm all ingredients for 2 minutes. Allow to cool.
  3. Turn the deep fryer to 170 ° C. Divide the dough into 12 rolls of equal size. Sprinkle the worktop with flour and roll out the rolls with the rolling pin to circles of approx. 14 cm Ø. Put 2 tbsp mixture on each circle and brush the edges with water. Fold the dough piece double and press the edges well, possibly with a fork.
  4. Fry each time 2 or 3 patties in 5 min. Golden brown. Turn halfway. Let them drain on kitchen paper. Tasty with rice, green beans and chili sauce.
